Pretty X-mas cardigan Konfekt
This year’s Christmas cardigan is here! And we couldn’t be more excited to knit it with you! The cardigan is called Konfekt, and it comes in both adult and child sizes. Perfect if you want to match with a little one for Christmas. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up, has a steek that is cut after blocking, and a double-knit button band. All for that elegant finish we love. The cardigan features a dropped shoulder and a straight fit. Konfekt is knitted with about 20 cm of positive ease, but if you prefer a more fitted cardigan, choose the size that is closer to your bust measurement.
As the name suggests, the pattern design is inspired by old-fashioned candy shop aesthetics. Not today’s candy shops, but the ones from the past, with toffee lollipops, glass jars filled with candies, and paper cones. Candy stands at the Christmas market with peppermint sticks and shiny toffee apples. That’s where we find our Christmas spirit this year! Come and celebrate Christmas with shiny candy wrappers, chewy caramels, and rows of peppermint sticks. And of course, a cozy cardigan!

Our cardigan is knitted in our new soft yarn Merino, which comes in a wide range of beautiful colors. Having trouble picking colors? Don’t worry, we have a range of color packs to choose from or to inspire you. Let’s get started! (Of course, you can swap out Merino for another yarn with the same weight. Some examples are Ulrika, Ulrika Natur, Tencel Blow, or Freja. Just make sure to match the gauge, otherwise the cardigan might turn out larger or smaller than expected.)
